This is a great easy and tasty side dish for any meal.

Ingredients
  • 1lb green beans(cleaned and snapped)
  • 2/3C yellow onions(chopped)
  • 3 garlic cloves(minced or chopped)
  • 1Tbsp bacon bits (soy)
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 1/4tsp black pepper
Instructions
  1. Place the washed green beans into a steamer in a large pan filled (below steamer level) with water.
  2. Sprinkle the remaining ingredients over the top of the beans; cover and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until the beans are tender when pierced with a fork.
Recipe Notes

Cover and store for up to five days in the refrigerator.
